SIC Hungary Kft. informs its website visitors and users of its functions about its data management practices and the legal remedies.

SIC Hungary Kft., as a data controller, complying with the stipulated conditions of “Act CXII of 2011 on the right to self-determination of information and freedom of information” (hereinafter: Infotv.) and the “Regulation on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data” know as the  General Data Protection Regulation of the European Parliament and Council (EU) No. 2016/679 (hereinafter: GDPR) ) commits itself to adhere to the mentioned legal conditions and expectations defined in other applicable laws while conducting its data management related to its provided services.

SIC Hungary Kft. performs the following online data management activities related its website:

• Receiving messages: requests for information, requests for quotations, orders and complaint handling, for the purpose of handling quality objections;
• Cookies: to promote user comfort, to support the functionality of the site, to increase user-experience, for the purpose of learning about user preferences;
• Newsletter service: Informing customers, suppliers, partners and potential customers about the company's business, technical and social activities; 
• Marketing: online advertising activity based on data obtained from statistical analyzes with the help of Google, Facebook and Youtube services.

Purpose and duration of data management

The general purpose of data management by SIC KFT:

• identification and registration of our customers,
• recording customer requirements in order to provide an accurate price quotation,
• informing our customers and ensuring our marketing activities,
• recording ordering history for smooth service, warranty or complaint handling with repair requests,
• to improve our services and work processes

We store personal data in our database based on the principle of purpose limitation until the consent of our customers is revoked.

Legal basis for data management

The legal basis for processing personal data is point a) of article 6, paragraph (1) of the GPDR and Section 5 paragraph (1) point a) of Infotv. on the part of the person concerned (User). By using the messaging, quotation request and newsletter subscription forms on our website, the User consents to the processing of the data detailed below.

SIC Hungary Kft. manages the data related to the online services provided through its official website as detailed below: 

Messaging

SIC Hungary Kft. uses a web-based messaging service to respond to the information requests of website visitors, to receive their requests for price quotations and/or to handle complaints. During the use of this service the person(s) concerned must indicate their telephone and e-mail contact details in addition to their name and affiliated company name. SIC Kft. manages this data confidentially and uses it exclusively for the purpose of serving the interested parties and future customers and during complaint handling.

We record the following data about the quotation requesters for the issuance of quotations:

• Name of organization and/or person
• Legal headquarters and/or site
• Shipping and mailing address
• Tax number
• Contact name
• Name, email address, telephone number
• Central email address and phone number
• Industrial sector or branch
• Categorization of machine by brand, type and ton
• Interest classification by product category
• Machine park

We can also send automatic messages from the system to price quotation requesters, in order to be able to provide detailed information about the processing level of their request/order.

Cookie-s

Visitors can view the official website without providing personal data. However, during use, technical data may be processed that cannot be directly linked to a specific natural person. "Cookies" are used to manage such data and record information.

Data generated when visiting websites

The webserver operated by the Webhosting service provider may automatically store certain data when our website www.sickft.hu is viewed, which may be classified as personal data. The webservers store the usual data in order to prevent possible malfunctions, as well as to improve the quality of services and to detect intrusion attempts:

• address of viewed page,
• address of the referring page (from which the visitor came),
• IP address of visitor,
• visitor's browser header (so-called user agent), which contains the type and version number of the operating system and the browser.

Newsletter

In our newsletter database, we assign the following data to subscribers:

• email address
• name
• method and time of addition
• time of last data change

We have placed an unsubscribe link at the bottom of each of our newsletters, and an unsubscribe request sent to info@sickft.hu will also be fully processed.

Marketing

During marketing, -online promóciós and advertisment:

• performing traffic-based statistical analyzes in order to improve services,
• forms target groups from its customer base, who may be interested in a specific service or campaign, and to whom it these campaigns are advertised,
• e-mail newsletters and advertisements, examines website behavior;

We consider it important to point out that SIC KFT does not keep any special data on its customers. We keep records of the data provided by our customers and the values ​​calculated from them.
